invites you to "Eat More Chocolate", a celebration honoring
Chocolate Bar's One Year Anniversary to take place on
Wednesday, May 14th. A press conference with master confectionists
and Chocolate Bar owners Alison Nelson and Matt
Lewis will take place at 6:30pm at Eugene
located at 27 West 24th Street between Fifth
and Sixth Avenues. As a surprise treat, Chocolate Bar will debut
samples of their signature line of Chocolate Bar's created by Jacques
Torres Chocolates and Andrew Shotts of Garrison Confections. These one-of-a-kind
bars will be sold through their West Village location and to retailers
worldwide. Retailing between $6-$7 dollars each, delectable new bar products
include:
•Extra Dark for the chocolate purist crafted
with 72% cacao
•Orange Dark a mixture of the finest bittersweet
chocolate mixed with a twist of orange essence
•Mint sumptuous bittersweet chocolate infused
with refreshing mint Espresso a rich dark chocolate espresso bar
•Espresso a rich dark chocolate espresso bar
•Milk Chocolate an elaborate concentration of
delicate Belgian milk chocolate
•Bittersweet a blend of intense flavor combinations
made with 60% cacao
•Milk Chocolate with peanuts
Belgian milk chocolate imbedded with roasted peanuts
•White optimally suited for delivering soft,
all-natural, creamy flavor
The evening will culminate in an extraordinary Anniversary
bash immediately following the press conference at 8pm
which will be seasoned with superb, jewel-like confections for which Chocolate
Bar is famous. Chocolate martini's will be provided by Vermeer
Dutch Chocolate Cream Liqueur and additional libations such as
Chocolate Stout courtesy of Brooklyn Beer
will also be available. Additional offerings include truffle tastings,
