Upon its American arrival in 2004 and through 2006, Workhouse Publicity proudly served as the Agency of Record for the renowned Bucherer Group’s Carl F. Bucherer, stylish Swiss watches since 1919 exclusively handling all domestic and Canadian media. Our agency was charged with overseeing the company’s full catalogue of timepieces through a host of services including public relations, sponsorship, promotion, special events and more.

Also upon its American arrival in 2001, Workhouse Publicity proudly served as the Agency of Record for Assouline Editions exclusively handling all domestic and Canadian media for the publishing house. Our agency was charged with brand positioning and development as well as overseeing the full catalogue of more than 90 seasonal titles through a host of services including public relations, sponsorship, promotion, special events and more. Over the course of this arrangement we worked in concert with the Director of Sales to increase the company’s profit margin from a $3 million dollar brand into a $30 million dollar luxury lifestyle property.

NEW YORK- WWD proclaimed "At last decadence is back!" and Vogue declared "That's Entertainment" concerning the Versace hosted event which Workhouse Publicity produced in honor of Rena Sindi's new book Be My Guest; Theme Party Savior-Faire (Assouline). The sparkling affair took place at the Italian design house's palazzo-like Fifth Avenue flagship located at 647 Fifth Avenue.

"It's a perfect marriage because Versace's all about glamour and fun and over the top, and so is my book," Sindi declared during the launch. 200 bona fide socials each decked out in glittering fashions, where bathed in gold paillettes thrown by masked sentries from the balcony above while sipping Champagne provided by Schieffelin & Somerset.

As Sindi signed books, guests were invited to receive airbrush or face painting onsite. At 9:30pm, masked characters rang gongs to announce that dinner would be served. The Winstead Group prepared an exquisite sit down for 200 and offered each glittering course on expansive creations served by a masked wait staff. Under Bentley Meeker's elegant lighting, table settings of transparent glitter bowls, floating candles and flower settings of white roses and orchids, glistened. After dinner DJ/Tom Finn held court over an action-packed dance floor while Mr. Disco; a barrel-chested body builder and masked dancing girls strutted their stuff.
