Instituted in 1996, Adam Nelson is Founder & CEO of Workhouse Publicity. Recently selected by the International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs in 2002 and the International Who’s Who’s of Executives in 2004. Who's Who is a network of recognized purveyors whose credentials are well established and has been documenting biographies on successful professionals since 1928. Nelson was also recently received the National Congressional Committee’s 2003 National Leadership Award and was elected to serve as an Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council. With twelve years experience in the field of Public Relations, he has previously been associated with Jason Weinberg & Associates as Senior Executive of Public Relations where his corporate roster included Joe Boxer, Pepsi and Detour Magazine.

Over time, Nelson has served as the chief representative for a stable of celebrity clients including Tim Burton, Debbie Harry, David LaChapelle, Lennox Lewis, Francis Ford Coppola, Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Marla Maples and Rena Sindi. Past positions include Public Relations Executive for Sak's Fifth Avenue; Publicity Director for Irving Plaza Concert Hall; Senior Executive for the Peggy Siegal Company overseeing the Warner Brothers account and the premiere of more than 100 films including Run Lola Run, Flawless, Batman, Rob Roy and House of Spirits. Nelson earned his BFA from the University of the Arts before attending certificate programs at both Yale and Oxford University.
